Such a lifesaver! It’s adjustable, so that is a huge plus. Our home is all tile and hardwood flooring, so this really helped save our infant from some hard falls. When he first started crawling/cruising/pulling himself up, he took some pretty scary knocks to the head. Thankfully we purchased this helmet! He’s learned more control now and is much more balanced. It was money well spent!

I really like this Product my daughter is crawling and standing a lot, and after a few troublesome falls- I decided to get her a protective helmet. A few worries I had, was the head bumper would be too big or bulky due to some reviews. But I think it's a perspective thing.
The hat isn't very big or wide but what I would expect from a padded headband.
The hat is a great fit for my 8 month old daughter. She is 17lbs.
She actually doesn't notice its on her head so the hat is comfortable. And also its honestly so cuute!! The straps are in no way a chocking hazard since they tie under your childs chin. But overall the straps aren't necessary if it fits well enough u can just tuck them at the top of the helmet. The hat has adjustable velcro in the back so it can be made larger.

I bought this for my 1-year-old grandson because they live in Miami, FL, so their house has a ceramic tile floor downstairs & a hardwood floor upstairs. I've been very worried about him falling & hitting his head on that hard floor, since I believe all babies/toddlers fall off a sofa, chair, or bed at least once no matter how closely you watch them. They move so quickly!
Yesterday I got a pic of him wearing it & he looks so cute! At 1st he fussed & didn't want to wear it, so I told his mom to give him a cookie every time she puts it on him & that worked! He was soon happily running around in his playpen much faster & more rowdy than ever before because he feels safer in his new helmet!
A couple of days ago he slipped & fell on the hard floor, & hit his head. But he wasn't hurt because he had his helmet on.
Today he wore it outside on the patio helping his mom water flowers with the garden hose. The helmet got soaking wet, but it dried out quickly.

This soft helmet has saved my little 8 month old from terrible bumps on the furniture and the hard tile floors! It's a very pretty design as well! She doesn't even know it's there and she doesn't try to take it off. It fits very nicely on her head and gives great protection to all sides of her head including her forehead. I highly recommend this safety helmet! It's expandable with the Velcro strap in the back and will grow with her for many months to come!

We love these baby helmets! I bought two for our twin girls because I thought that if I was busy holding one baby the other one would probably be in the process of falling. The girls are 14 months and now leave them on. Initially they hated them and I thought it was a waste of money but we left them in the living room play area and we would put them on the babies while playing until they took it off (before walking) and I would put it on my head so they see me with it. Once they started walking we would put the helmet on and take them by the hands to practice walking. Pretty soon they got use to it and even now put the helmets on themselves. It has two little strings to tie around the chin and we leave them tied with a knot but loosely fitted on the chin so we don’t have to tie and untie it every time. Hopefully I can figure out how to add a picture to my review. We love these!

I love it. My husband makes fun of me for buying this for our son, but it has already saved him a few times. He is 7.5 months old and seems ready to walk. He is trying to climb on everything and we have porcelain tile floors and it worries me a lot that he was due damage to his head if I'm not with him every second. We've had this almost a week now and it had saved him a few times when he has pulled himself up and then lost balance and fallen over. I'm so relieved that this helmet cushions his fall...
My husband has made me promise that this is only for use in our own home, LOL. It's awesome. Btw, I'm a FTM, so I'm allowed to be a little extra cautious.

This is the Best item for your crawling baby. I was skeptical I totally but I’m so happy we bought this for my 8 month old who is crawling all over. We have hard wood floors and given he’s just now starting to crawl he’s not fully balanced and has hit his head on floors. Once we bought this, we put it on him and he cruises the house and if he falls over he is absolutely safe. These bumper pads are so soft and lightweight and it’s so easy to put on baby. I would buy again and again and I’ll be buying for friends with crawling babies. If you’re hesitant to buy, PLEase make the purchase you’ll be so happy you did. Before this helmet, I had to keep eyes glued to baby and anytime he went onto wood floors I had to bring him back to rug and that was so exhausting plus baby hated it. Now with the the helmet, I have so much peace in letting him crawl all over the floors and because of that his crawling Skills have significantly improved. It’s amazing! Thank you for selling this at such an affordable price! You are saving babies heads and that is truly valuable!

I love this cap! I brought it for my grand baby so he wouldn't bust his head so much since he's learning to walking and pulling up on everything. The hat is adjustable and he don't sweat in it. I have caught him a couple of times pulling up on my tables and letting go the first time I just knew he cracked his head open but he had a soft bump got up and went back to what he was doing! The hat arrive before the expected date. The little string is the only thing I didn't like but besides that I would recommend this hat and the price was right

I absolutely love it. this thing is completely adjustable for his 20cm head and ties under the neck even though he loves to pull on the strings and chew them. It's soft to the touch and covers majority of his head so even though you don't think that it does because of all of the openings it does, nothing gets next to his little head to hurt him even when he is climbing up on things. He also no longer bumps into my head and teeth. A must have as soon as your little one attempt to crawl, i only wish I didn't wait this long as he is in the crawl and stand up phase...

I love love love this product! My daughter is 1 and she runs! So fast on tile and inevitably she lands sometimes on things such as the wall or bends too quickly and hits the corners. I'm always next to her but sometimes she is so fast that she needed something like this.
She has been using it for a few weeks now only when we are home and she is running wild. The material is soft and cute. It is a little hot so she sweats a little.
It fits great since it has Velcro and strings. I would definitely recommend this to All moms out there with a torpedo of a baby.

I gotta say I am quite pleased with this particular safety helmet. Even with a plush large area rug underneath him my little Maestro still takes a tumble every now and again, wearing this helmet has definitely prevented what could have been a somewhat awful bruise on his little head.
When putting it on him, initially, he would repeatedly try to pull it off. But after a while he got used to it. He instinctively knows now when it's floor play time his "Happy Helmet" goes on his head. Like Sesame Street sing-a-longs i've made a fun song out of it for him.... he loves it!!

Our problem: We have a very active 6 month old who is cruising (pulling up on EVERYTHING) early. He doesn't have balance yet and we have all hard flooring on the first level or our house. Our baby kept falling back and hitting the back of his head.
This foamy pillow hat is the answer!
Baby doesn't seem to mind wearing it. It's one size fits all with adjustable Velcro. It works! My 6 month old pulls up on something new literally every 60 seconds. It was nerve wrenching on so hard to stay within a foot of him (which I tried to do for 2 days.) With this on, he has fallen backward hitting the back of his head as before but no more pain or tears! He quickly pulls himself up and he's ready to go again. He isn't crazy about putting it on but seems to forget it's there quick enough. It's well made and washing machine safe! I only need it to last long enough for my baby to develop a little more balance.
I really can't recommend it enough. As far as I'm concerned, this thing paid for itself in the first day when it protected my son during several tumbles!!!!
I think the price is more than fair for the quality and function!

I don’t often leave reviews but this helmet has saved my sons head from getting so many bumps and bruises. My son started walking at 11 1/2 months and he was hitting himself left and right. Also, idk if it’s just my son but when he gets upset or throws tantrum, he lets his head fall backwards causing him to hit the floor. My son is now 15 months and is a runner. I got this helmet about a month ago and how I wish I would have bought it sooner. My mom even feels more comfortable letting him run around her house when she watches him because his head is protected. I definitely recommended to every parent. At first he didn’t like it but it just required some getting use to and now he doesn’t even try to take it off.

When my daughter was learning to sit unassisted, this worked great in preventing painful head-bangs on the hard floor. We really only used it a month (6-7m old), but this prevented a lot of tears. I intend to use it with a second child. I like that it can be used for a variety of head sizes and the tie prevents the child from pulling it off. It also looks huge on a small infant’s head.. like a mushroom top, and that really warms my heart.

This has been a lifesaver! My 8 month old is new to crawling and trying to stand and he falls over and bumps his head on our wood floors, now without a tear. He's had some very hard falls with this on and just looks up wide-eyed and stunned that he didn't get hurt. He didn't like it when we first put it on him but I think he sort of understands that it is saving his head and he doesn't mind wearing it now. The back is velcro and very adjustable to fit a wide range of head sizes. A great investment in my baby's growing brain!

We bought this for our 7-month old son after we learned from co-workers that baby helmets were actually a real thing. It was around this time that baby was suddenly moving around a lot (crawling, rolling, sitting up, pulling himself up) but as he didn't have much control over his body yet, he'd fall and hit his head a lot and therefore cry a lot. We love that the helmet is light and fits our baby's head comfortably. The design is very cute and our baby looks very adorable wearing it. While wearing the helmet one time, he fell on his back and as expected, he didn't cry and he just sat right back up. Our baby is 9 months now and we don't use it as much since he has better control of himself and doesn't hit his head as much but once he starts walking on his own, we will definitely use this again.

By now, this helmet has saved my son's head too many times to count. We originally bought this because my 1 year old had twice fallen on our porcelain tile floor and bumped his head pretty bad. Since wearing this he's had no more boo-boos on his head. He's even gotten so used to it, that he'll even put it on himself when we ask him.
5 stars all the way!!! :)

I purchased this for my 10 month old grandson who is not quite walking, but falling over a lot, and my daughter was getting very stressed over the amount of times he was bonking his head. To be honest I never thought he'd keep it on, but decided that for the price it was worth a try. However, he doesn't mind it at all, is perfectly happy to wear it, and makes no effort to remove it. It's a wonderful little hat. The velcro fastening allows it to fit all size heads. Happy baby, happy Mom!

Best money I ever spent! Did I feel like a total lame, over cautious, first time mom buying it?....yup! But that's okay, because it gives me peace of mind as our 10 month old crawls around on the porcelain tile floors. Even though he is crawling around and pulling himself up on things, he still wobbles when he sits up straight and just falls backwards, slamming the back of his head on the ground. So we would have to keep him confined to a padded area. He has already fallen over and bumped his head a few times with the helmet and it has worked perfectly. He wasn't the biggest fan of it at first, but now he could care less if it is on or off, only took a couple hours for him to get used to it and stop trying to rip it off. Would highly recommend for any worried parents like me!

This soft helmet fit my daughter as expected. I bought it because I preferred this type of helmet over the hard bicycle-like helmets. This one is a perfect balance of firm, yet flexible. My daughter does not mind it at all and goes about playing without paying it any mind. It has a velcro backing so you can readjust to fit head size/growth. It also has strings that can be tied for below the chin; however, these bother my daughter and I usually just tie them off and place them in the back. The helmet stays on without having to use the chin strings. The pattern, in my opinion, is pretty gender neutral, though it does have pink on it. It has saved her head many times, as she is an eager beaver and loves to pull up on everything, and has from an early age! This helmet has given me peace of mind to let my daughter play as she wishes.

We have hardwood floors. Thanks to the ginormous head-to-body ratio on most babies, it was inevitable that gravity would eventually win out over the neck muscles of an emerging crawler. Needless to say, the day finally came when I dropped my guard for a second, heard a slap followed by a wailing baby, and had to undergo a rigorous interrogation from the spouse as to how this could've happened.
I'm sure a free solution would be to never take my eyes off a crawling baby. But, I'm a realist. I can and will get distracted again. So, my second solution was this. An indoor baby helmet.
The velcro makes this product easily adjustable for any baby with a grapefruit – cantaloupe sized head. Thanks to the open top, you don't have to worry about overheating. Best of all, the spongy padding is thick enough for a little one to bop their head around like a pinball to their heart's content.
This product has been a game changer!
